Last night while looking through one of my Swedish gardening magazines, Allt om Trädgård, I came across an ad that I had previously ignored. It was an ad for Garden Girl, a line of clothing for gardening. I went to their website to learn that the clothes are designed with details like insertable kneepads, a range of pockets, and a detachable pocket for your cell phone - a must these days I suppose to keep up with trends.
I'm one of those who garden in whatever I happen to be wearing at the time, mostly jeans, a t-shirt and my rubber boots. But I have to say, I'm a little attracted to the apron and a pair of the Garden Girl pants. I'm thinking that maybe wearing a pair of pants with kneepads and pockets for tools would be a better choice than my jeans where my cellphone keeps falling out of my pocket.
